✓Minimum order size. Set a minimum quantity per order or per product, or a minimum total amount in your currency, so bulk pricing makes sense.
✓Maximum quantity & lead time. Protect yourself with a maximum order size and an estimate of production time based on the size of the order.
✓Payment plan. Choose prepaid, COD or Net 30 / 60 / X, or a mix plan, part upfront and the rest on shipping, for smaller businesses.
✓Deadlines & price changes. Define payment and cancellation deadlines, and note that prices may fluctuate without prior notice unless an invoice was already issued.
Fulfillment & protection
✓Shipping estimates. Provide shipping cost and delay estimates by destination, or note they will be confirmed on receipt of the order based on its content.
✓Damage & returns. Specify within how many days a buyer must make a reclamation, how (email, phone), and what happens if they miss the deadline.
✓Resale price control. Set a percentage of your wholesale price or an MSRP, and any maximum discount below MSRP, to protect your brand image.
✓IP & confidentiality. Protect your intellectual property and reassure buyers that shared information stays confidential.
